Świetlica jako przestrzeń wsparcia dzieci z doświadczeniem migracji. Studium „Przystanku Świetlica” w Ośrodku dla Cudzoziemców w Lininie

Praca magisterska dotyczy sytuacji dzieci z doświadczeniem migracji przymusowej w Polsce, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem dzieci zamieszkujących jeden z otwartych ośrodków dla cudzoziemców. Jej celem jest szczegółowa analiza projektu edukacyjno-integracyjnego „Przystanek Świetlica” w Ośrodku dla Cudzoziemców w Lininie jako przestrzeni wsparcia i opieki dla dzieci–migrantów. W części teoretycznej omówiono prawne i instytucjonalne uwarunkowania systemu azylowego w Polsce, funkcjonowanie ośrodków dla cudzoziemców oraz psychospołeczne skutki migracji u dzieci. Przeanalizowano także znaczenie edukacji formalnej i pozaformalnej w procesie adaptacji i integracji w nowym środowisku. Część empiryczna obejmuje studium przypadku „Przystanku Świetlica”, zrealizowane przy pomocy metod jakościowych – obserwacji uczestniczącej, analizy dokumentów i dyskusji fokusowej z wychowawcami. Badanie miało na celu ujawnienie głównych trudności napotykanych przez dzieci – ustalono, że należy do nich obniżone poczucie bezpieczeństwa, niepewna sytuacja pobytowa, przeciążenie odpowiedzialnością, bariera językowa i problemy edukacyjne. Zarysowano formy wsparcia oferowane dzieciom w Świetlicy: budowanie poczucia bezpieczeństwa, wspierającą rozmowę i rozwijanie kompetencji językowych.

This master’s thesis addresses the situation of children with experiences of forced migration in Poland, with particular attention to those residing in one of the open reception centers for foreigners. The primary objective is to provide an in-depth analysis of the educational and integration initiative “Przystanek Świetlica” at the Reception Center for Foreigners in Linin, considered here as a space of support and care for migrant children. The theoretical section outlines the legal and institutional framework of the Polish asylum system, the organization and functioning of reception centers, as well as the psychosocial consequences of migration for children. It further examines the role of both formal and non-formal education in processes of adaptation and integration within a new environment. The empirical section presents a case study of “Przystanek Świetlica”, conducted through qualitative methods, including participant observation, document analysis, and a focus group discussion with educators. The study sought to identify the main challenges faced by children, which were found to include a diminished sense of security, precarious residence status, excessive responsibilities, language barriers, and educational difficulties. The analysis also highlights the forms of support provided within the program, such as fostering a sense of safety, offering supportive dialogue, and developing language competences.
