Le forme del fantastico quotidiano nei racconti di Giovanni Arpino

The characteristics of daily fantasy in Giovanni Arpino’s short stories. The author analyzes the poetics of fantasy in the Piedmontese writer Giovanni Arpino, an important witnesses of the second half of the 20th century, so far largely neglected by the critics. Through an analysis of his short stories, the author attemps to define the characteristics of Arpino’s fantasy highlighting the relations and differences with other Italian representatives of the same genre and with his remaining narrative production inspired by his social and civic spirit.
