The problem of teaching computer science is widely discussed for years. Traditional point of view suggests strong mathematical education followed by the computer science theoretical and then practical training. Nowadays there is growing interest in teaching programming and algorithms students without strong mathematical education. In this paper we present recently started master degree program in computational engineering. This program is dedicated to the students with engineering or master degree in different domains willing to extend their knowledge in computer science. The program and its first outcomes are presented
