Stan wojenny w Polsce. Interpretacje obozu władzy

Praca magisterska podejmuje temat stanu wojennego w Polsce (1981–1983), koncentrując się na jego interpretacji przez ówczesny obóz władzy. Autorka analizuje motywacje, cele oraz sposób uzasadniania decyzji o jego wprowadzeniu, wskazując na złożone tło polityczne, społeczne i międzynarodowe tego wydarzenia. The master's thesis focuses on the state of martial law in Poland (1981–1983), concentrating on its interpretation by the then ruling authorities. The author analyzes the motivations, goals, and justification behind the decision to impose martial law, highlighting the complex political, social, and international background of this event. A key element of the study is the presentation of the perspective of the decision-makers – primarily Wojciech Jaruzelski and the Military Council of National Salvation – who portrayed martial law as a necessary tool for stabilizing the state and protecting it from alleged threats of anarchy or external intervention.

The thesis also addresses the impact of martial law on internal security and the international relations of the Polish People's Republic, including its dependence on the USSR. The author uses historical literature, source documents, and propaganda analysis to reconstruct the political narrative of the communist authorities. The aim of the thesis is not only to present historical facts, but also to understand the mechanisms of legitimizing repression and authoritarian control during the final phase of communism.
