Piotra Dubrowskiego zarys życia i twórczości Mickiewicza

This paper presents the work Adam Mickiewicz. From the sketches on the latest Polish literature Oiccestvennye zapiski" 1858, vol. 120-121, passim; Sankt-Petersburg 1858) with the annex The new materials for Mickiewicz's biography by Pyotr Pavlovich Dubrovsky (1812-1882) with a focus on its origin, structure, content and reception. Dubrovsky's work, the frst monograph on Mickiewicz in Russian based on Polish sources, shows Mickiewicz as a Polish, Slavonic and furopean poet. Dubrovsky presents a review of the Polish literature, Mickiewicz's biography (aduding his stay in Russia), a list of editions of his works in Polish and the other European "guages (including Russian) and summaries of the most important works.
