W pracy autorka podejmuje temat udziału kobiet w napoleońskiej rekonstrukcji historycznej w Polsce. Opisuje działalność kobiet w tym środowisku na podstawie przeprowadzonych badań etnograficznych, a także własnych doświadczeń. Przybliża jak na ich uczestnictwo wpływa zmaskulinizowany charakter środowiska oraz zastanawia się nad przyczynami owego zjawiska. Praca analizuje pozycję kobiet w świecie rekonstrukcyjnym oraz przybliża jakie inicjatywy podejmują one w rekonstrukcji historycznej. Autorka analizuje również szerszą kwestie konstruowania płci w tym środowisku oraz wpływu androcentrycznych dyskursów historycznych na kształt rekonstrukcji historycznej w Polsce.

In this diploma project, the author examines the issue of female participation in historical reenactment of the Napoleonic period in Poland. The activity of women in this field is described based on the author's ethnographic research, as well as own experiences. It showcases how their participation is affected by the masculinised character of the environment and considers the causes of that state. The project analyzes the standing of women in the world of reenactment and introduces initiatives undertaken by them. The author also discusses the wider issue of gender performativity in the aforementioned field and the influence of historical discourses on the shape of historical reenactment in Poland.
