Chapter One presents a thorough analysis of the notion of liberty, tracing its evolution in socio-political thought and elucidating its significance within modern political theory. The initial section of the chapter offers a historical overview, scrutinising the concept of liberty from antiquity to the present day, and highlighting the influence of Immanuel Kant on Hayek’s philosophical perspectives. In the subsequent section of Chapter One, the author expounds upon the theory of spontaneous order as a prerequisite for the existence of liberty and emphasises the role of abstract rules. Chapter Two concentrates on an in-depth analysis of the concept of social justice in Hayek’s thought, emphasising issues of individual accountability as a foundational element of liberty and the characteristics of justice according to the philosopher. A significant portion of the chapter is dedicated to discussing the role of institutions that uphold justice within a spontaneous order. In the concluding third chapter, the author presents the concept of a demarchic system, focusing on the separation of the executive and legislative branches. The chapter delineates the theoretical underpinnings of the Legislative and Governmental Assembly and the Constitutional Court.
