Voguing w Polsce. Historia, powiązania, perspektywy

Przedstawiam historię powstania voguingu w Nowym Jorku i jego wpływ na społeczność LGBT. Piszę o wybuchu epidemii AIDS i jej wpływie na postrzeganie homoseksualistów przez społeczeństwo. Analizuję, jak kształtowała się historia polskich gejów i lesbijek w czasach PRLu. Z jakimi trudnościami musieli mierzyć się ówcześni geje i lesbijki, jak byli traktowani przez władze i jak byli reprezentowani przez kulturę. Zastanawiam się, jaką drogę musiała przejść społeczność LGBT, aby w Polsce mógł zaistnieć voguing.

I present the history of the emergence of voguing in New York and its influence on the LGBT community. I write about the outbreak of the AIDS epidemic and its impact on the perception of homosexuals by society. I analyze how the history of Polish gays and lesbians evolved during the times of the People's Republic of Poland. I discuss the difficulties that gays and lesbians of that era had to face, how they were treated by the authorities, and how they were represented in culture. I ponder the journey the LGBT community had to undergo for voguing to become established in Poland.
