Pracę poświęciłem repertuarowi kibiców Liverpoolu F.C., analizowanemu jako zjawisko muzyczne i kulturowe. Jej celem jest ukazanie specyfiki repertuaru pod względem tekstów, melodii, sposobów wykonania oraz pełnionych funkcji, a także analiza repertuaru w perspektywie teorii oralności. Staram się w pracy pokazać, że śpiewy kibicowskie stanowią istotny element budowania i podtrzymywania tożsamości zbiorowej oraz utrwalają pamięć zbiorową. Analiza związana jest również z relacją między repertuarem i historią oraz tożsamością lokalną. Swoje miejsce w pracy ma także temat mechanizmów powstawania i rozpowszechniania śpiewów, źródła wykorzystywanych melodii oraz ich przekształcenia. W pracy omówione zostały różnorodność gatunkowa i funkcjonalna śpiewów kibicowskich.

This bachelor’s thesis is devoted to the repertoire of Liverpool F.C. supporters, examined both as a musical and a cultural phenomenon. Its aim is to present the characteristic features of this repertoire in terms of lyrics, melodies, performance styles and functions, as well as to analyse it from the perspective of the theory of orality. The thesis demonstrates that supporters’ chants constitute an important element in building and sustaining collective identity and preserving collective memory. It also examines the relationship between the repertoire, history and local identity. Furthermore, the thesis analyses the mechanisms behind the creation and dissemination of chants, the sources of the melodies used, and the ways in which they are adapted and transformed. It also discusses the genre and functional diversity of football chants.
