Wpływ globalizacji i rozwój technologiczny znacząco podniósł możliwości do finansowania terroryzmu i wagę tego zagadnienia. However, how terrorist organizations will function depends on the scale of their financing, because terrorism, like everything in the world, has its monetary needs. The impact of globalization and technological development have significantly increased the possibilities of financing terrorism and the importance of this issue. The research problem is, as included in the title of the work, the impact of terrorism financing on the security of European Union countries. Understanding this topic is important for ensuring security, which is one of the basic human needs. The topic will be in-depth in the following aspects: determining the sources of financing, the impact of technological development on terrorism financing and assessing the effectiveness of the mechanisms of the system for counteracting terrorism financing in the European Union and individually for Poland.
