Krajobraz Kulturowy Puszczy Białej

Celem pracy było określenie cech charakterystycznych krajobrazu kulturowego Puszczy Białej – regionu położonego pomiędzy rzekami Narew i Bug – ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem identyfikacji niekorzystnych zmian, a także wskazania tradycyjnych elementów, które przetrwały do dziś i powinny być objęte ochroną oraz uwzględniane w procesach planowania i kształtowania przestrzeni. W ramach badań scharakteryzowano położenie geograficzne oraz strukturę krajobrazu analizowanego obszaru, określono wzorzec tradycyjnego krajobrazu kulturowego, a następnie dokonano oceny stopnia jego zachowania. Przeprowadzona analiza pozwoliła również na określenie perspektyw i szans zachowania tych wartości w przyszłości.

The aim of the study was to identify the characteristic features of the cultural landscape of the Puszcza Biała forest – a region located between the Narew and Bug rivers – with particular emphasis on the identification of unfavorable changes, as well as on indicating traditional elements that have survived to this day and should be protected and taken into account in spatial planning and development processes. The research included a characterization of the geographical location and landscape structure of the analyzed area, the identification of the traditional cultural landscape pattern, and an assessment of the degree of its preservation. The conducted analysis also made it possible to define the prospects and opportunities for preserving these values in the future.
