Sceny prezentacji na pieczęciach cylindrycznych z czasów panowania dynastii akadyjskiej i III dynastii z Ur – analiza porównawcza

Studium ikonografii scen prezentacji okresów: akadyjskiego i Trzeciej Dynastii z Ur. Praca przedstawia przegląd scen prezentacji przed bóstwem z pieczęci cylindrycznych okresu akadyjskiego (2340-2159 p.n.e.) oraz III Dynastii z Ur (2112-2004 p.n.e.). Analizowane zabytki ukazują różnorodność przedstawień postaci boskich i ludzkich.Autor skupia się przede wszystkim na zmianach stylistycznych i tematycznych w obu okresach. Różnice dotyczą materiałów, liczby, ról i ubioru postaci, a także standaryzacji przedstawień i roli inskrypcji. Przedstawienia akadyjskie eksperymentowały z formą, podczas gdy w okresie Trzeciej Dynastii z Ur widoczna jest standaryzacja scen.

A Study of the Iconography of Presentation Scenes in the Akkadian and Third Dynasty of Ur Periods. This paper provides an overview of presentation scenes before a deity depicted on cylinder seals from the Akkadian period (2340–2159 BCE) and the Third Dynasty of Ur (2112–2004 BCE). The analyzed artifacts illustrate the diversity of depictions of both divine and human figures. The author focuses primarily on stylistic and thematic changes between the two periods. The differences concern the materials, the number, roles, and attire of the figures, as well as the standardization of representations and the role of inscriptions. Akkadian depictions experimented with form, whereas in the Third Dynasty of Ur period, a clear standardization of scenes is observed.
