L’écologie urbaine est-elle si transparente/interprétable qu’elle le semble ?

Ecology is a very current domain that presents many lexical creations, which is why it seems necessary to analyze these lexical units to avoid confusion. We would like to present some collocations around “sustainable city” as well as the profile of these lexical expressions used daily in the French media. A discursive approach to some collocations (Sablayrolles 2000, 2011; Sablayrolles & Mejri, 2011; Tutin & Grossmann, 2002; Tutin, 2005) gives us a better understanding of these new terms. It is by observing the course in context of the neologisms of the ecological domain that we can seize the contributions of semes; some have an administrative / official origin, others appear "vulgarly" in the media. We will try to explain what happens "in and through the media" (Moirand, 2007: 4; 157) for the lexicon called “ecological”.
