Aktywność seksualna żołnierzy na Lubelszczyźnie w czasie wojen połowy XVII w. i Wielkiej Wojny Północnej

Możliwości badaczy zajmujących się zjawiskiem przemocy seksualnej w epoce nowożytnej ogranicza niska rejestrowalność tej zbrodni. W celu wprowadzenia do dyskursu nowego źródła przeprowadziłem analizę statystyczną i narracyjną ksiąg metrykalnych powiatu lubelskiego w okresie wojen połowy XVII w. i Wielkiej Wojny Północnej. Zaobserwowane nadwyżki poczęć nieślubnych pokrywające się z okresami stacjonowania na tym terenie wojsk uznałem za potencjalne świadectwo aktywności seksualnej żołnierzy. Badanie sezonowości ujawniło, że nadwyżka ta przypadała na kwiecień i maj, czyli nie pokrywała się okresem leży zimowych. Analiza przestrzenna pozwoliła natomiast powiązać wyższe wskaźniki nieślubności z głównymi trasami przemarszów wojsk. Pewność uzyskanych wyników obniża jednak niedokładna synchronizacja nadwyżek z obecnością wojskową.

The possibilities of researchers dealing with the phenomenon of sexual violence in the modern era are limited by the low recordability of this crime. In order to introduce a new source into the discourse, I conducted a statistical and narrative analysis of the metric books of the Lublin district during the wars of the mid-17th century and the Great Northern War. I identified the observed surplus of illegitimate conceptions coinciding with periods when troops were stationed in the area as potential evidence of soldiers' sexual activity. Examination of the seasonality revealed that this surplus occurred in April and May, i.e. it did not coincide with the period of winter leirs. Geographical analysis, on the other hand, made it possible to associate higher rates of illegitimacy with the main routes of army marches. However, the certainty of the results obtained is reduced by the inaccurate synchronisation of surpluses with military presence.
