Czy w Polsce znikają świetliki? Antropologiczna mutacja w reportażach Paola Rumiza

In this paper I discuss the vision of Polish culture advanced by paolo Rumiz. The Italian journalist grasps the cultural and political contradiction of the Polish transition from the communist era to the democratic one. I explain Rumiz's standpoint by tracing his discourse back to Pasolini's conception of anthropological mutation. Finally, I point at the link between the increase of nationalists movements and the rise of consumerism.
