Niniejsza praca ma na celu przedstawienie ewolucji polityki handlowej Republiki Korei wobec Unii Europejskiej po 2000 roku. W pracy odwołano się do metod jakościowych, głównie analizy dyskursu oraz danych makroekonomicznych. Praca składa się z czterech rozdziałów. W rozdziale pierwszym autorka przybliża historyczny kontekst relacji europejsko-koreańskich, prezentuje również historyczne uwarunkowania wzajemnej współpracy międzynarodowej. Rozdział drugi skupia się na okolicznościach ewolucji polityki handlowej. Zostaje pokazana zmiana w założeniach polityki handlowej zarówno Unii Europejskiej jak i Republiki Korei. Autorka w rodziale trzecim zaznacza prawne i instytucjonalne ramy współpracy obu stron. Zostają ukazane akty prawne, które doprowadziły do zacieśnienia relacji pomiędzy Republiką Korei a Unią Europejską. Rozdział czwarty to ukazanie wpływu podpisania umowy o wolnym handlu zarówno na gospodarki jak i politykę obu ratyfikujących stron. Zostaje poddany analizie proces wzajemnej integracji handlowej a także jego skutki zarówno gospodarcze jak i polityczne.

This work aims to present the evolution of the Republic of Korea's trade policy towards the European Union after 2000. The work refers to qualitative methods, mainly discourse analysis and macroeconomic data. The work consists of four chapters. In the first chapter, the author introduces the historical context of European-Korean relations and also presents the historical conditions of mutual international cooperation. The second chapter focuses on the circumstances of the evolution of trade policy. The change in the assumptions of the trade policy of both the European Union and the Republic of Korea is shown. In the third chapter, the author highlights the legal and institutional framework of cooperation between both parties. Legal acts that led to closer relations between the Republic of Korea and the European Union are presented. Chapter four shows the impact of signing the free trade agreement on both the economies and policies of both ratifying parties. The process of mutual trade integration as well as its economic and political effects are analyzed.
