United States-China diplomatic relations in the 1970s.

At the end of the 1960s and the beginning of the 1970s, the situation in the world underwent major changes, and the bipolar pattern of the Cold War was subjected to unprecedented shocks. During this period, the U.S.-Soviet rivalry was in the posture of Soviet attack and American defense. But in this period is also the beginning of the Sino-US diplomatic relations détente, in which China, the United States, the Soviet Union and other aspects of the factors, due to the existence of the factors in all aspects of the relationship between the two countries from the initial state of hostility to the relations of détente, and finally China and the United States until the establishment of diplomatic relations. The purpose of this paper is to examine the background of Sino-American diplomatic relations in the 1970s, explain why the relationship between the two countries détente and move towards diplomacy in the 1970s, and how the change in the relationship between China and the United States would affect their respective countries and the world. This is done by examining scholarly articles on the relationship between China and the United States, official documents from the Chinese and American governments, ministerial statements, and scholarly articles analyzing the impact of the relationship between the two countries.
