Niniejsza praca podejmuje temat polityki zagranicznej Stanów Zjednoczonych wobec Izraela w latach 2009-2024, mając na celu analizę ewolucji i determinantów relacji między tymi państwami. Przedstawiono kontekst historyczny powstania państwa Izrael i rozwoju nieformalnego sojuszu z USA, a także przeanalizowano wpływ działalności lobby izraelskiego na amerykańską politykę. Główna część pracy poświęcona została działaniom administracji Baracka Obamy, Donalda Trumpa i Joe Bidena ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem ich postawy wobec konfliktu izraelsko-palestyńskiego. Podjęto próbę znalezienia elementów kontynuacji i zmiany w strategiach kolejnych prezydentów. Omówiono również wzajemny wpływ relacji z Izraelem i działalności Stanów Zjednoczonych w ramach Organizacji Narodów Zjednoczonych, a także przedstawiono szerszy kontekst bezpieczeństwa regionalnego w obliczu wspólnego zagrożenia ze strony Islamskiej Republiki Iranu. W pracy zastosowano analizę źródeł i metodę porównawczą, która pozwoliła na zweryfikowanie hipotezy o strategicznej trwałości relacji USA-Izrael, która została utrzymana mimo zmieniających się uwarunkowań politycznych i taktycznych różnic w podejściu poszczególnych administracji prezydenckich.

This thesis analyzes the United States’ foreign policy towards Israel between 2009 and 2024, with the aim of analyzing the evolution and determinants of relations between these countries. The paper provides the historical context for the establishment of the State of Israel and the development of the informal alliance with the U.S., while also analyzing the impact of the Israeli lobby on American policy. The main part of the paper is dedicated to the actions of the Barack Obama, Donald Trump, and Joe Biden administrations, with a particular focus on their respective attitudes toward the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. An attempt is made to identify elements of continuity and change in the strategies of successive presidents. The thesis also discusses the mutual influence of the relations with Israel and the United States' activities within the United Nations, and presents the broader regional security context in the face of the common threat posed by the Islamic Republic of Iran. The paper uses source analysis and a comparative method, which allowed for the verification of the hypothesis about the strategic stability of U.S.-Israel relationship, which has been maintained despite changing political conditions and tactical differences in the approach of subsequent presidential administrations.
