Dwie konstytucje policyjne II Rzeczpospolitej. Od ustawy z 24 lipca 1919 r. do rozporządzenia Prezydenta RP z 22 marca 1928 r.

The article analyzes the State Police Act of 1919. and the regulation of the President of the Republic of Poland from 1928. These two legal acts regulated the functioning of the State Police in the interwar period. They were created in various political and social conditions as well as in different political systems of the state. It should also be remembered that there were various professional experiences at the beginning of the Second Polish Republic and in the middle of its existence. One can nevertheless state that in the interwar period we were dealing with the stabilization of the state’s legal system. However, when comparing both analyzed legal solutions, one can say that the philosophy of understanding police matters in the country has changed.
