Niniejsza praca pt. „Rola zadaniowych testów użyteczności w optymalizacji doświadczenia użytkownika na stronach internetowych, na przykładzie strony mowadzieci.uw.edu.pl” koncentruje się na znaczeniu testów użyteczności w procesie projektowania stron internetowych. Głównym zamierzeniem pracy było zbadanie, w jakim stopniu te testy umożliwiają identyfikację intuicyjnych oraz problematycznych elementów interfejsu oraz sprawdzenie, na ile wnioski z testów pomogą zoptymalizować doświadczenie użytkowników na badanej stronie. W ramach pracy przyjęto hipotezę badawczą, która zakładała, że zadaniowe testy UX pozwalają zidentyfikować kluczowe problemy z użytecznością strony oraz ocenić, jakie elementy interfejsu sprzyjają realizacji celów użytkowników. Głównym problemem badawczym niniejszej pracy było pytanie: W jakim stopniu testy użyteczności UX pozwalają na identyfikację kluczowych problemów użyteczności oraz ocenę elementów interfejsu, które wspierają realizację celów użytkowników na stronach internetowych? Celem pracy była ocena skuteczności zadaniowych testów użyteczności w identyfikacji problemów związanych z intuicyjnością interfejsu strony internetowej oraz zbadanie wpływu tych testów na proces optymalizacji projektu. W badaniu wykorzystano testy użyteczności przeprowadzone na stronie mowadzieci.uw.edu.pl z udziałem siedmiu uczestniczek. Podstawę teoretyczną pracy stanowiła literatura z zakresu projektowania doświadczeń użytkownika (ang. user experience design, UX), badań użyteczności oraz artykuły naukowe i materiały dostępne w Internecie. Analiza wyników potwierdziła zarówno główną hipotezę, jak i hipotezy szczegółowe. Wykazano, że testy użyteczności stanowią skuteczne narzędzie do wykrywania problemów z użytecznością stron internetowych oraz pozwalają wyodrębnić te elementy interfejsu, które ułatwiają użytkownikom realizację ich celów. Przeprowadzone badania potwierdziły, że testy użyteczności mogą skutecznie wspierać proces projektowy dostarczając wartościowych informacji, które umożliwiają wprowadzenie poprawek w celu optymalizacji interfejsu. Na podstawie wyników można wnioskować, że wdrażanie testów UX jako integralnego elementu projektowania stron internetowych, jest potrzebnym i właściwym działaniem.

This paper, titled “The role of task-based usabitity testing in optimizing user experience on websites, using the example of the website mowadzieci.uw.edu.pl,” focuses on the importance of usability tests in the web design process. The main intention of the work was to investigate the extent to which these tests enable the identification of intuitive and problematic interface elements, and to see to what extent the conclusions of the tests will help optimize the user experience on the studied website. The study's hypothesis was that task-based UX tests help identify key usability problems on the site and assess which interface elements help achieve users' goals. The main research problem of this study was the question: to what extent do UX usability tests identify key usability problems and evaluate interface elements that support users' goals on websites? The purpose of the study was to evaluate the effectiveness of task-based usability tests in identifying problems related to the intuitiveness of a website's interface, and to examine the impact of these tests on the design optimization process. The study used usability tests conducted on the mowadzieci.uw.edu.pl website with seven participants. The theoretical part of the work was based on the literature on user experience design (UX), usability research, and academic articles and materials available on the Internet. Analysis of the results confirmed both the main hypothesis and the specific hypotheses. It was possible to demonstrate that usability testing is an effective tool for detecting usability problems on websites and to show which interface elements help users achieve their goals. The study confirmed that usability tests can effectively support the design process by providing valuable information that allows adjustments to be made to optimize the interface. Based on the results, it can be concluded that implementing UX testing as an integral part of web design, is a necessary and appropriate action.
