Tereny zieleni w Rzeszowie i Porto

Praca dotyczy tematyki związanej z terenami zieleni w dwóch miastach - Rzeszowie i Porto. W pierwszej części opisano tło historyczne i najważniejsze wydarzenia, które doprowadziły do powstania pierwszych obszarów zieleni urządzonej. W rozdziale teoretycznym scharakteryzowano wybrane koncepcje miast związane z roślinnością, takie jak miasto ogród, green city, czy miasto ekologiczne. Zwrócono również uwagę na idee, które nie są jednoznacznie powiązane z zielenią, jednak uwzględniają założenie jej wykorzystania w tkance miejskiej. Ważnym aspektem jest również opis znaczenia szaty roślinnej w życiu mieszkańców i funkcjonowaniu miasta, a także klasyfikacja terenów zieleni w Rzeszowie i Porto na podstawie przywołanych źródeł. W kolejnej części pracy przedstawiono charakterystykę zieleni w analizowanych miastach, która dotyczy statystyk, lokalizacji, a także wskazania i opisu najważniejszych obszarów na terenie miast. Uwzględniono także uwarunkowania, które wpłynęły na obecny stan tych obszarów. Podzielone je na przyrodnicze i pozaprzyrodnicze. W pracy przywołano działania organizowane przez samorząd, a także projekty realizowane przez organizacje pozarządowe i aktywistów. W zakończeniu obydwa miasta zostały ze sobą porównane.

The paper deals with the subject of green areas in two cities, Rzeszów and Porto. The first part describes the historical background and the most important events that led to the creation of the first green areas. The theoretical chapter characterises selected concepts of cities related to vegetation, such as the garden city, green city or ecological city. Attention is also given to ideas that are not explicitly linked to greenery, but which incorporate the assumption of its use in the urban fabric. Another important aspect is the description of the importance of the vegetation cover in the life of the inhabitants and the functioning of the city, as well as the classification of green areas in Rzeszów and Porto on the basis of the cited sources. The next part of the paper presents the characteristics of greenery in the analysed cities, which concerns statistics, location, as well as the identification and description of the most important areas within the cities. The conditions that have influenced the current state of these areas are also included. These are divided into natural and non-natural. The work cites activities organised by the local government, as well as projects carried out by non-governmental organisations and activists. In the conclusion, the two cities are compared with each other.
