Parateksty w „czytankach” słowackiego feministycznego stowarzyszenia ASPEKT

Materiał do artykułu stanowią trzy publikacje słowackiego feministycznego stowarzyszenia ASPEKT: wybory tekstów Hany Gregorovej i Terézii Vansovej, autorek ważnych dla pisarstwa kobiecego w Słowacji, oraz antologia Potopené duše [Zatopione dusze], prezentująca utwory zapomnianych poetek słowackich pierwszej połowy XX w. Książki ukazały się w serii „Čítanka” [Czytanka], której założeniem jest ożywianie literackiego dorobku kobiet oraz kontynuowanie i rozwijanie jego emancypacyjnej tradycji. Wszystkie tomy zawierają rozbudowaną warstwę paratekstualną; omówienie jej najważniejszych elementów i ich funkcji tworzy zasadniczą część artykułu. W przypadku książek Gregorovej i Vansovej komentarze wprowadzające do poszczególnych części tekstu właściwego, uwagi redakcyjne, rozwiązania edytorskie itd. mają na celu przede wszystkim stworzenie nowej, aktualizującej perspektywy lektury tekstów. W antologii elementy paratekstualne służą ponownemu wprowadzeniu w kontekst słowackiej literatury poetek zapomnianych i ukazaniu sposobu, w jaki ich utwory uzupełniają i wzbogacają obraz poezji słowackiej pierwszych dekad XX w. Komentarze i uwagi towarzyszące tekstom we wszystkich analizowanych tomach pokazują również możliwość nowego spojrzenia na tradycję literatury słowackiej dzięki wykorzystaniu perspektywy feministycznej.

This article examines three publications issued by the Slovak feminist association ASPEKT: selections of works by Hana Gregorová and Terézia Vansová – authors central to the tradition of women’s writing in Slovakia – and the anthology Potopené duše [Sunken Souls], which brings together texts by forgotten Slovak women poets of the first half of the twentieth century. These volumes were published in a Čítanka series [Reader], whose guiding principle is the revitalization of women’s literary heritage as well as the continuation and further development of its emancipatory trajectory. All three books contain extensive paratextual layers, the analysis of whose key components and functions constitutes the core of this article. In the editions of Gregorová and Vansová, introductory commentaries to the individual sections of the main text, editorial notes, and other interventions are intended primarily to establish a contemporary and updating interpretive perspective. In the anthology, paratextual elements serve to reintroduce forgotten women poets into the broader context of Slovak literature and to demonstrate the ways in which their work supplements and enriches the landscape of Slovak poetry in the early decades of the twentieth century. Across all examined volumes, the accompanying commentaries and editorial notes also reveal the potential for reframing the tradition of Slovak literature through the lens of feminist criticism.
