Mutter-Kind-Beziehung im Roman Die Mittagsfrau von Julia Franck

Celem niniejszej pracy magisterskiej jest analiza wpływu traumy dzieciństwa na relacje rodzinne szczególnie więzi między matką a synem, na podstawie powieści Południca Julii Franck. W tym celu omówiona zostaje znana z mitologii słowiańskiej postać południcy – demonicznej kobiety przynoszącej śmierć i zniszczenie. Wpływ tych mitów widać szczególnie dobrze na przykładzie dwóch bohaterek: matki i córki. Ponadto omówiony został problem emocjonalnej alienacji, który w sposób nierozerwalny wiąże się z traumą związaną z tragiczną stratą osób bliskich a także traumatycznych doświadczeń wojennych. W pracy został uwzględniony również wątek autobiograficzny, który odnosi się do osobistych doświadczeń rodzinnych autorki powieści. Praca stanowi próbę ukazania, w jaki sposób literatura przedstawia traumę przekazywaną z pokolenia na pokolenie.

This master‘s thesis analyses the impact of childhood trauma on family relationships especially the bond between mother and son, based on the novel The Blind Side of the Heart by Julia Franck. To this end, the figure of the Lady Midday, a demonic woman who brings death and destruction, from Slavic mythology is discussed. The influence of these myths is demonstrated through the example of two heroines: a mother and a daughter. In addition, the problem of emotional alienation, which is inextricably linked to the trauma of the tragic loss of beloved ones and the traumatic experience of war, is also discussed. The thesis depicts an autobiographical theme, which refers to the personal family experiences of the author of the novel. The paper is an attempt to show the circulation trauma passed from generation to generation.

Ziel dieser Arbeit ist es, anhand des Romans Die Mittagsfrau von Julia Franck die Auswirkungen eines Kindheitstraumas auf familiäre Beziehungen, insbesondere die Mutter-Sohn-Bindung, zu analysieren. Zu diesem Zweck wird die Figur der Mittagsfrau einer dämonische Frau, die Tod und Zerstörung bringt aus der slawischen Mythologie diskutiert. Der Einfluss dieser Mythen lässt sich besonders gut am Beispiel von zwei weiblichen Protagonistinnen, einer Mutter und einer Tochter, erkennen. Darüber hinaus wird das Problem der emotionalen Entfremdung erörtert, das untrennbar mit Traumata verbunden ist, die mit dem tragischen Verlust geliebter Menschen sowie mit traumatischen Kriegserfahrungen zusammenhängen. Die Arbeit enthält auch ein autobiografisches Motiv, das sich auf die persönlichen familiären Erfahrungen des Autors des Romans bezieht. Die Arbeit versucht die Zirkulation des Traumas von Generation zu zeigen.
