Analisi della traduzione della comicità linguistica e degli elementi culturali nella serie 1670 in italiano

Celem niniejszej pracy jest analiza oraz identyfikacja technik tłumaczeniowych zastosowanych we włoskim przekładzie polskiego serialu 1670. Analiza opiera się zarówno na wersji z napisami, jak i na wersji z dubbingiem. Praca została podzielona na trzy rozdziały. W pierwszym rozdziale przedstawiona została definicja tłumaczenia audiowizualnego oraz omówione zostały trzy jego główne formy: napisy, dubbing i lektor. Drugi rozdział poświęcony jest teoriom przekładu oraz strategiom tłumaczeniowym, zilustrowanym przykładami odnoszącymi się do tłumaczenia komizmu językowego i elementów kulturowych. W trzecim rozdziale zostały przeanalizowane tłumaczenia odniesień kulturowych, terminów historycznych, gier słownych, idiomów i przysłów, rozpatrywane w kontekście wcześniej omówionych zagadnień teoretycznych. Ostatecznym celem pracy jest ocena skuteczności zastosowanych rozwiązań tłumaczeniowych oraz ich wpływu na odbiór serialu przez włoskiego widza.

The aim of this thesis is to analyze and identify the translation techniques used in the Italian translation of the Polish TV series 1670. The analysis is based on both the subtitled and dubbed versions. The thesis is divided into three chapters. The first chapter presents the definition of audiovisual translation and discusses its three main forms: subtitles, dubbing, and voice-over. The second chapter is devoted to translation theories and strategies, illustrated with examples related to the translation of linguistic humor and cultural elements. The third chapter analyzes the translations of cultural references, historical terms, wordplay, idioms, and proverbs, considered in the context of the previously discussed theoretical issues. The ultimate goal of the thesis is to evaluate the effectiveness of the translation solutions used and their impact on how the series is received by the Italian audience.

L’obiettivo del presente elaborato è analizzare e identificare le tecniche traduttive impiegate nella versione italiana del serial polacco 1670. L’analisi prende in considerazione sia la versione sottotitolata, sia quella doppiata. Il lavoro è suddiviso in tre capitoli. Il primo capitolo presenta la definizione di traduzione audiovisiva e descrive le sue tre principali modalità: sottotitolazione, doppiaggio e voice-over. Il secondo capitolo è dedicato alle teorie della traduzione e alle strategie traduttive, illustrate attraverso esempi relativi alla resa dell’umorismo linguistico e degli elementi culturali. Nel terzo capitolo vengono analizzate le traduzioni di riferimenti culturali, termini storici, giochi di parole, modi di dire e proverbi, esaminati alla luce delle nozioni teoriche precedentemente esposte. L’obiettivo finale della tesi è valutare l’efficacia delle soluzioni traduttive adottate e il loro impatto sulla ricezione del prodotto da parte del pubblico italiano.
