Polityka klimatyczna i bezpieczeństwo energetyczne w okresie turbulencji w świecie zachodnim [Climate policy and energy security in a time of trouble in the Western world]

The political changes and disintegration processes in the West have a strong influence on the energy-climate policy and energy security. Both the Brexit and the result of the 2016 U.S. presidential election will have far-reaching consequences for energy and climate security. Author aims at analysing the contemporary global and regional determinants of Western energy security and energy-climate policy. At the global level, she explores the post COP21 and post U.S. election challenges to climate and energy security. At the European level author analyses the energy and climate package of the EU (the winter package) and its significance in the context of the disintegration process within the EU.
