Oficjalne stroje arystokracji dworskiej w okresie Heian (794-1185)

Praca jest poświęcona strojom arystokracji dworskiej okresu Heian (794-1185) ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem ceremonialnego stroju męskiego sokutai i kobiecego karaginumo (inaczej jūnihitoe). W pierwszej części pracy przybliżono uwarunkowania społeczno-kulturowe wpływające na typu strojów, system rang dworskich, oraz życie codzienne i obyczaje ówczesnej arystokracji. W drugiej części pracy przedstawiono oficjalny strój przedstawiciela męskiej klasy wyższej sokutai i jego poszczególne elementy, a następnie oficjalny strój kobiecy karaginumo. Szczegółowo omówiono jego elementy składowe. W ostatniej części pracy przybliżono zestawienia kolorystyczne kasane no irome oraz kinjiki, czyli zakazane kolory zarezerwowane dla przedstawicieli rodu cesarskiego i osób uprzywilejowanych.

The study is dedicated to the costumes of the courtly aristocracy during the Heian period (794-1185), with particular emphasis on the ceremonial male attire of sokutai and the female attire of karaginumo (also known as jūnihitoe). In the first part of the work, the socio-cultural conditions influencing the types of costumes, the court rank system, as well as the daily life and customs of the then aristocracy are elaborated upon. In the second part, the official attire of the male upper-class representative, the sokutai, and its individual elements are presented, followed by the official female dress, the karaginumo, with a detailed discussion of its components. In the final part, the study delves into the color combinations of kasane no irome and kinjiki, which are the forbidden colors reserved for representatives of the imperial lineage and privileged individuals.
