Pozdrowienia z kobiecości. Pamiętnikarskie queerowe emocje a emancypacja

Przedmiotem pracy są dwa pamiętniki opublikowane w antologii Cała siła, jaką czerpię na życie. Świadectwa, relacje, pamiętniki osób LGBTQ+ (2022) autorstwa Olgi (Górskiej) oraz Kingi Kosińskiej. Celem analizy jest wyłonienie struktur odczuwania kobiecej nienormatywności płciowej i seksualnej w kontekście doświadczenia awansu klasowego oraz religijności katolickiej. W pracy kieruję się kulturoznawczą refleksją na temat nienormatywności seksualnej w Polsce oraz teoriami uczuć i emocji. W pierwszym rozdziale opisuję struktury odczuwania związane z awansem, w drugim z Kościołem. Ustalam, że queerowe oddziaływanie nienormatywnych praktyk życiowych objawiać się może w przestrzeni słabości czy bez siły: trudnych emocji, braku satysfakcji i poczucia nieprzystawalności. Dowodzę też, że dowartościowanie słabości w polu afektywnym niuansuje istotny w polskiej teorii podział na queer i politykę tożsamościową, a także pozwala uchwycić specyfikę queerowego życia na peryferiach kraju.

The subject of this thesis is two memoirs published in the anthology All the Strength I Draw to Live: Testimonies, Accounts, Memoirs of LGBTQ+ Individuals (2022) by Olga (Górska) and Kinga Kosińska. The aim of the analysis is to identify structures of feeling associated with female gender and sexual non-normativity in the context of experiences of upward class mobility and Catholic religiosity. The study is informed by cultural studies approaches to sexual non-normativity in Poland, as well as theories of affect and emotion. The first chapter examines structures of feeling related to social mobility, while the second focuses on those connected with the Church. I argue that the queer potential of non-normative life practices may manifest in spaces of weakness or lack of strength — such as difficult emotions, dissatisfaction, and a sense of misalignment. Furthermore, I demonstrate that revaluing weakness within the affective domain complicates the distinction, prominent in Polish theory, between queer and identity politics, and makes it possible to capture the specificity of queer life on the country’s peripheries.
