Travel, Landscape, Writing. Serge Delaive, Poet-Traveler between Meuse and Mekong. This article discusses the subject of travel in the poetry of Belgian writer Serge Delaive, poet, novelist, traveler and photographer. His work, through his interest in the issues of travel and identity, is a part of the contemporary current of the openness to the world (or worlds), present both in literature and in criticism, which was initiated by the Spatial turn in the 1980s. On the example of three volumes – Légendaire (1995), Monde jumeau (1996), Le livre canoë (2001) - and the long poem Meuse fleuve nord (2014), the article analyzes three problems: forms of travel, its sources and objectives; the character of the traveler and the relationship between the journey, the landscape and the writing.
