Matki dzieci w spektrum autyzmu. Analiza blogów.

Tematem pracy jest obraz macierzyństwa przedstawionego na blogach matek dziecka w spektrum autyzmu. W części teoretycznej przedstawiono ewolucję pojęcia autyzmu i neuroróżnorodności, dokonano przeglądu koncepcji dotyczących macierzyństwa oraz macierzyństwa w kontekście autyzmu oraz przywołano dotychczasowe badania dotyczące doświadczeń matek dzieci w spektrum autyzmu i omówiono rolę informacyjną narracji biograficznych i blogów. W części badawczej praca skupia się na analizie postaw, wartości, celów rodzicielskich, preferowanych form wsparcia oraz tożsamości autorek blogów. Posłużono się metodą jakościową analizy materiałów zastanych – treści trzech blogów, które poddano kodowaniu zgodnie ze stworzonym schematem. Na ich podstawie opracowano model teoretyczny oraz opis wyników badań. Wyniki badań potwierdziły wielowymiarowy charakter bycia matką dziecka w spektrum autyzmu. Badane blogi przedstawiały różnice w podejściu do wychowywania dzieci zarówno na poziomie stosowanych metod i technik, jak i na poziomie ocen niedociągnięć i sukcesów. Odmienne okazały się również sposoby autoprezentacji – różniły się między sobą poufnością zwierzeń oraz przypisywaną sobie rolą i przyzwoleniem na własną autonomię.. Analiza badanych treści wskazała również, że wsparcie płynące ze strony głównej placówki edukacyjnej w żadnym z przypadków nie zostało ocenione jako wystarczające i wybrane jako preferowana jego forma.

The subject of this paper is the image of motherhood as depicted in the blogs of mothers of children on the autism spectrum. The theoretical part presents the evolution of the concepts of autism and neurodiversity, reviews concepts of motherhood and motherhood in the context of autism, cites previous research on the experiences of mothers of children on the autism spectrum and discusses the informational role of biographical narratives and blogs. In the research part, the paper focuses on the analysis of attitudes, values, parenting goals, preferred forms of support and the identity of the blog authors. A qualitative method was used: an analysis of existing materials - the content of three blogs, which were subjected to coding according to the created scheme. Based on these, a theoretical model and a description of the results of the study were developed. The results of the study confirmed the multidimensional nature of being a mother of a child on the autism spectrum. The blogs studied presented different approaches to raising children both at the level of methods and techniques used, as well as at the level of evaluations of shortcomings and successes. The ways of self-presentation also proved to be different - they differed in the confidentiality of confessions, in the role ascribed to themselves and in the permission for their own autonomy. An analysis of the studied content also indicated that the support received from the main educational institution in none of the cases was assessed as sufficient and selected as its preferred form.
