Étranger à soi-même : expériences migratoires et corporéité dans la quête d’identité chez Milan Kundera

Praca porusza problem poczucia obcości wobec samego siebie w twórczości Milana Kundery na podstawie powieści Księga śmiechu i zapomnienia, Niewiedza, Nieśmiertelność oraz Nieznośna lekkość bytu. Celem pracy jest ukazanie, w jaki sposób doświadczenie emigracji, aspekt pamięci oraz relacja z ciałem wpływają na proces kształtowania tożsamości bohaterów. Analiza pokazuje, że u Kundery poczucie wyobcowania nie ogranicza się jedynie do wymiaru politycznego lub geograficznego, lecz obejmuje również relację jednostki z własnym ciałem i pamięcią. W pracy wykorzystano analizę tekstową, perspektywę porównawczą oraz wybrane koncepcje teoretyczne dotyczące emigracji, cielesności i tożsamości.

This work examines the feeling of self-estrangement in the works of Milan Kundera through the novels The Book of Laughter and Forgetting, Ignorance, Immortality, and The Unbearable Lightness of Being. The aim of this study is to show how the experience of exile, the relationship to memory, and the relationship to the body influence the process of identity construction in Kundera’s characters. The analysis demonstrates that, in Kundera’s work, alienation is not limited to political or geographical dimensions, but also involves the individual’s relationship with their own body and memory. The work is based on textual analysis, a comparative approach, and selected theoretical concepts related to exile, corporeality, and identity.

Ce mémoire porte sur le sentiment d’étrangeté à soi-même dans l’œuvre de Milan Kundera à partir des romans Le Livre du rire et de l’oubli, L’Ignorance, L’Immortalité et L’Insoutenable légèreté de l’être. L’objectif de ce travail est de montrer comment l’expérience de l’émigration, le rapport à la mémoire et la relation au corps influencent le processus de construction identitaire des personnages. L’analyse montre que, chez Milan Kundera, le sentiment d’aliénation ne se limite pas à la dimension politique ou géographique, mais englobe également le rapport de l’individu à son propre corps et à sa mémoire. Ce travail s’appuie sur une analyse textuelle, une perspective comparatiste ainsi que sur des concepts théoriques liés à l’exil, à la corporalité et à l’identité
