Certain facets of psychological functioning have been researched in order to understand the effects of COVID-19 in long-term or short-term periods in various groups around the world. Researchers have studied various psychological effects, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and neuropsychological effects, in relation to COVID-19. In this study, the levels of anxiety, depression, trauma and neuropsychological function have been explored in relation to COVID-19 in a post-pandemic setting (from 2022 to 2023). This relation was examined in an Indian sample. COVID-19 was treated as an independent variable and the dependent variables were levels of anxiety, depression and depression. The two additional dependent variables were social support, loneliness, and neuropsychological functioning The primary purpose of this is to understand if COVID-19 as an independent variable had an effect on the levels of anxiety, depression, trauma and neuropsychological functioning in the study sample. Furthermore, the study also had the secondary aim of exploring the effect of COVID-19 on social variables like loneliness and social support. The research team at the University of Warsaw used a standardised questionnaire to conduct the research. This questionnaire was circulated online amongst the Indian population to collect data. This study was conducted post-pandemic waves in India (from 2022 until 2023), so the questionnaire was altered according to the situation’s requirements.
