O humor português pintado nos painéis dos barcos moliceiros

Niniejsza praca przedstawia analizę paneli o charakterze erotycznym znajdujących się na łódkach moliceiros, typowych dla regionu Aveiro w centralnej części Portugalii, pod względem zawartych w nich treści humorystycznych. Przedstawione są w niej ramy teoretyczne, z uwzględnieniem historii moliceiros, ich znaczenia dla Aveiro oraz cech artystycznych i typologii przedstawianych scen. Następnie przeprowadzona jest analiza wybranych paneli za pomocą analizy treści w odniesieniu do wyborów artystycznych autorów, relacji między obrazami i ich podpisami na podstawie modelu zaproponowanego przez Scotta McClouda w książce „Understanding Comics: The Invisible Art”, elementów kultury lokalnej i przejawów regionalnego kodu kulturowego, niezrozumiałego dla osób bez znajomości uwarunkowań regionu i kontekstu kulturowego, oraz tego, co stanowi humorystyczny charakter danego panelu. Wnioski z przeprowadzonej analizy wskazują w jaki sposób humor portugalski jest prezentowany na podstawie przedstawień na owych łódkach.

This thesis presents an analysis of panels encountered on moliceiros boats, typical of the Aveiro region in the central part of Portugal, in terms of the humorous content they contain, especially those of erotic nature. It presents a theoretical framework that includes the history of moliceiros, their significance for Aveiro, as well as their artistic qualities and typology of presented images. This is followed by an analysis of selected panels with the use of the content analysis method in regards to the creative choices of the authors, relations between images and their captions based on the model proposed by Scott McCloud in his book „Understanding Comics: The Invisible Art”, elements of local culture and manifestations of local culture codes, incomprehensible for those without the knowledge of the regional circumstances and cultural context, together with the determinants of the humorous nature of each panel. The conclusions of the analysis indicate how Portuguese humor is represented on the moliceiros boats.

Esta tese apresenta uma análise dos painéis encontrados nos barcos moliceiros, típicos da região de Aveiro, situada na parte central de Portugal, em termos de conteúdo humorístico contido neles, especialmente este de caráter erótico. O trabalho apresenta um enquadramento teórico que inclui a história dos moliceiros, o seu significado para Aveiro, bem como as suas qualidades artísticas e a tipologia das imagens apresentadas. Segue-se uma análise de painéis selecionados a partir do método de análise de conteúdo, quanto às escolhas criativas dos autores, às relações entre as imagens e as legendas, com base no modelo proposto por Scott McCloud no seu livro Understanding Comics: The Invisible Art, elementos da cultura local e manifestações de códigos da cultura deste área, incompreensíveis para os que não conhecem as circunstâncias regionais e o contexto cultural, bem como os aspetos determinantes do caráter humorístico de cada painel. As conclusões da análise indicam a forma como o humor português é representado nos barcos moliceiros.
