„Ukryte” Michaela Hanekego: metafora świata uwikłanego w media

Obrazy nie tylko nas otaczają, lecz także nas przenikają. W filmie Ukryte Haneke (2005) stworzył świetną metaforę świata uwikłanego w media, pokazując, że to, co zewnętrzne, przenika to, co wewnętrzne. Główny bohater odnajduje taśmy wideo: wydaje się, że ktoś obserwuje zarówno jego dom, jak i jego samego. Tak zaczyna się poszukiwanie, tyleż rzeczywiste, co metaforyczne, które wiedzie w stronę historii/pamięci zarówno osobistej, jak i społecznej, albo raczej osobistej (i społecznej) historii zapomnienia.

Images not only surround us, but they also infiltrate our lives. Haneke in his film Hidden (2005) has created a magnificent metaphor of the world entangled in the media, by showing that the outer penetrates the inner. The main character finds video tapes: it seems that someone is observing him and his home. He begins a quest, which is as much real as it is metaphorical and leads to the issues of history/memory both personal and social or rather: personal (and social) history of oblivion.
