Estudios de vulnerabilidad y de modos de vida (livelihood) en las zonas rurales de América Latina
Abstrakt (EN)
There are different methodological and conceptual scopes present in the discussion about the underdevelopment of rural zones, especially in developing countries. However, in regard to persistent poverty primarily two scopes apply: the first one analyzes the existent model of redistribution in rural zones, whereas the second one concentrates on how regions can be taken out of backwardness and poverty. Given that for different reasons the role of agriculture in the economic system remains important, conceptual analyses and debates about rural zones, agriculture and rural communities are still an important research topic. This article covers mainly the different concepts related to vulnerability and livelihood in rural communities in developing countries and to sustainable development of rural zones in Latin America.
