The inventories of the Wisnica castle drawn up in the 17th and early 18th centuries contain accounts of the garden establishment, which made it possible to verify previous findings. The basic source of knowledge about its composition was the engraving showing the Wisnica establishment included in Samuel Pufendorf's work, which was based on sketches by Erik Dahlberg. The Domus voluptaria marked on it turned out to be an elaborate palace-like building and the main element decorating the garden was an arrangement of eight, not 15 or 25, quarters, as originally assumed. The composition was completed with two fountains, an extensive pool, rows of trees, four gates formed from hornbeams, plantations of fruit trees and a pavilion called a hall. Inventories from the early 18th century report damage to the buildings and gradual degradation of the entire establishment.
