Desarrollo sustentable y el uso del patrimonio.

Sustainable development is generally associated with the concepts of protection and management of natural resources. Here we propose the use of this concept in the discussion on the appropriate and careful use of heritage; in this way that allows him to treat as the element of promotion of the region, and of local society. The chapter focuses on presenting the evolution of the concept of sustainable development and the use of heritage. The general objective is to show existing relationships between the proper use of artifacts and heritage monuments with the idea of treating it with great care and in turn guarding the natural properties of it and of the local society that is living in a given place.
