Teatr Komedia – teatr w dzielnicy czy teatr dzielnicowy. Rola teatru jako miejsca dla lokalnej społeczności

Praca odnosi się do rozwoju Centrów Lokalnych w Warszawie, które w założeniu mają stanowić sieć lokalnych ośrodków gospodarczych i społecznych w każdej dzielnicy. Przedmiotem badania jest Teatr Komedia, zlokalizowany w północnej dzielnicy Warszawy - Żoliborzu. Celem pracy jest analiza tego, w jaki sposób mieszkańcy korzystają z okolicy Teatru Komedia, jak wpisuje się on w tożsamość dzielnicy oraz jej mieszkańców, a także pomysłów na wzbogacenie przestrzeni wokół niego. Wyniki pochodzą z dwóch badań ankietowych: wśród mieszkańców dzielnicy oraz widzów Teatru Komedia. Analiza dwóch perspektyw pozwoliła na odpowiedzenie na pytanie czy, a jeśli tak to jakiego rodzaju napięcie może wystąpić pomiędzy funkcją metropolitalną a centrum lokalnego.

Thesis refers to the development of local centers in Warsaw, which are intended to constitute a network of local economic and social centres in each district. The subject of the study is the Komedia Theater, located in the northern district of Warsaw - Żoliborz. The aim of the work is to analyze how residents use the area around the Komedia Theater, how it fits into the identity of the district and its inhabitants, as well as ideas for enriching the space around it. The results come from two surveys: among residents of the district and among viewers of the Komedia Theater. The analysis of two perspectives allowed to answer the question whether, and if so, what kind of tension may occur between the metropolitan function and the local center.
