The correspondence of sociologist Stefan Czarnowski brings together letters written to Polish recipients as well as exchanges with Henri Hubert and Marcel Mauss, presented both in Polish translation and in the original French. Accompanied by extensive historical commentary, the volume offers a rich insight into the intellectual and social climate of the first half of the twentieth century.
