Świadomość rodziców dzieci w wieku przedszkolnym na temat rozwoju kompetencji komunikacyjnych

Celem niniejszej pracy była ocena poziomu świadomości rodziców dzieci w wieku przedszkolnym na temat rozwoju kompetencji komunikacyjnych, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem zmiennych demograficznych, samooceny respondentów oraz źródeł pozyskiwanej przez nich wiedzy. Badanie przeprowadzono w formie elektronicznej ankiety skierowanej do rodziców, a uzyskane wyniki poddano analizie ilościowej i jakościowej. Wyniki wykazały istotny wpływ stopnia wykształcenia, natomiast brak wpływu wieku i liczby posiadanych dzieci, na poziom wiedzy dotyczącej rozwoju kompetencji komunikacyjnych u dzieci. Internet okazał się najczęstszym źródłem informacji wśród rodziców. Ponadto zauważono, że część respondentów zawyżyła ocenę swojej wiedzy. Praca podkreśla potrzebę prowadzenia działań edukacyjnych skierowanych do rodziców. Wskazuje na potrzebę dalszych badań w omawianym zakresie.

The aim of this study was to assess the level of awareness among parents of preschool-aged children regarding the development of communication skills, with particular emphasis on demographic variables, respondents’ self-assessment, and sources of their knowledge. The research was conducted in the form of an online survey addressed to parents, and the results obtained were subjected to both quantitative and qualitative analysis. The results showed a significant influence of the level of education, while age and the number of children had no impact on the level of knowledge regarding the development of communication skills in children. The Internet turned out to be the most common source of information among parents. Moreover, it was observed that some respondents overestimated their level of knowledge. The study highlights the need for educational initiatives targeted at parents and indicates the necessity of further research in this area.
