Język i kultura na przykładzie leksyki dotyczącej kuchni tureckiej

Jak należy uczyć języka, którego nosiciele posiadają odrębną kulturę, religię i.. klimat? W nauczaniu języka koncentrowano się na opanowaniu przez studenta słownictwa oraz zasad gramatycznych. W niniejszej pracy skoncentruję się na nauczaniu studenta leksyki i gramatyki ze szczególnym zwróceniem uwagi na fakt, że ucząc się języka tym samym poznaje on kulturę społeczności, posługującej się danym językiem. Tematem przewodnim będzie kuchnia turecka, tj. nawyki żywieniowe Turków, kultura stołu, nazwy potraw tureckich, sposób ich przygotowywania oraz zmiany w obrębie „kuchni” wywołane tzw. globalizacją. Wiedza ta zostanie wykorzystana przez studenta już przy pierwszym w bezpośrednim kontakcie z użytkownikiem języka tureckiego.

How one should teach language, whose native-speakers have a distinct culture, religion and ... climate? The teaching focuses on making students learn vocabulary and grammatical rules. In this paper I will focus on teaching the students vocabulary and grammar with particular attention to the fact that while learning the language students get to know the culture of the community speaking a particular language. The main theme of this paper is Turkish cuisine, ie. eating habits of the Turks, the ‘culture of the table’, the names of Turkish dishes, their preparation and changes in the "World Cuisine" caused by so-called globalization. This knowledge will be used by the student at the first direct contact with the users of the Turkish language.
