„Pętano nas wszystkie przez całe życie, seksualnie, społecznie i kulturowo. Czas odwrócić role! Teraz my będziemy pętać!” – proza Agnieszki Szpili w kontekście postfeminizmu i postpornografii

Celem artykułu jest analiza twórczości prozatorskiej Agnieszki Szpili: powieści Heksy (2021) i zbioru opowiadań Octopussy (2023), w kontekście postfeminizmu oraz postporno – czyli „nowej” pornografii, opartej na konsensualności i inkluzywności, jako recepty na wyczerpanie kultury. Pisarka sugeruje, zarówno w swoich utworach, jak i w licznych wywiadach, że zbliżamy się do końca cywilizacji, a współczesne społeczeństwo nadal opiera się na patriarchalnych wartościach, co przejawia się w wielu sferach życia, również seksualnej. Jej zdaniem jedyną drogą do upodmiotowienia kobiet jest wyzwolenie seksualne i porzucenie antropocentrycznej perspektywy na rzecz zwrotu ku naturze. Autor i autorka starają się ocenić, czy wizja pisarki w istocie jest prokobieca czy też przeczy ideałom równościowym.

The aim of this article is to analyse the prose works of Agnieszka Szpila – the novel Heksy [Hexes] (2021) and the short story collection Octopussy (2023) – within the context of postfeminism and postpornography understood as the “new” pornography based on consensuality and inclusivity, proposed as a solution to the exhaustion of culture. The author suggests, both in her works and in numerous interviews, that despite the fact that we are approaching the end of civilization, the contemporary society continues to rely on patriarchal values which are manifested in various spheres of life, including the sexual one. According to her, the only way to empower women is through sexual liberation and the abandonment of the anthropocentric perspective in favour of a turn towards nature. The authors aim to assess whether the writer’s vision is truly pro-feminist or whether it, as a matter of fact, contradicts the ideals of equality.
