“Mixed feelings”? L’expression des émotions dans les couples mixtes et bilingues

Celem niniejszej pracy jest zbadanie, w jaki sposób dwujęzyczność wpływa na wyrażanie emocji u osób żyjących w parze mieszanej, które komunikują się na co dzień w języku ojczystym partnera. W tym celu, przeprowadzone zostały wywiady z dwiema francuskojęzycznymi kobietami (49 i 21 lat) spełniającymi te kryteria. Analiza wywiadów i badań opisanych w części teoretycznej wykazały, że osoby dwujęzyczne żyjące w parach mieszanych różnie konceptualizują swoje emocje i że w ich przypadku nie ma uniwersalnego schematu ich przetwarzania.

The aim of this study is to examine how bilingualism affects the expression of emotions in people living in a mixed couple who communicate on a daily basis in the partner's native language. For this purpose, interviews were conducted with two French-speaking women (49 and 21 years old) who met these criteria. The analysis of interviews and research described in the theoretical part showed that bilingual people living in mixed couples conceptualize their emotions differently and that in their case there is no universal scheme for processing them.

L’objectif de ce mémoire est d'examiner comment le bilinguisme affecte l'expression des émotions chez les personnes vivant en couple mixte qui communiquent quotidiennement dans la langue maternelle du partenaire. Pour ce faire, nous avons mené des entretiens avec deux femmes francophones (49 et 21 ans) répondant à ces critères. L'analyse des entretiens et des recherches décrites dans la partie théorique a montré que les personnes bilingues vivant en couple mixte conceptualisent leurs émotions différemment et que dans leur cas, il n'existe pas de schéma universel de traitement des émotions.
