Przedstawia ona wady i zalety interpretacji Dumasa oraz wskazuje potencjalne źródła, z których korzystał autor pisząc powieść.

This thesis explores the portrayal of Marguerite de Valois in Alexandre Dumas' novel Queen Margot. The focus of the study is to examine the various factors that influenced the creation of the character and to compare her with the real historical figure. It presents the advantages and disadvantages of Dumas' interpretation and it also points towards the potential sources used by the author when writing the novel.
