Turkey's and Russia's involvement in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict after 2020

The thesis will investigate Russia’s and Turkey’s involvement in the conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh. It is an important regional conflict, given the tragic history of Turkish-Armenian relations, and the fact that Azerbaijan is a Turkik country. An Armenian-populated enclave inside Azerbaijan has been conquered by military force, with Russia looking the other way. That conquest would not have been possible without Turkish support. As a conflict heavily influenced by external Powers, Russia and Turkey, it is also illustrative of the geopolitical realignment in South Caucasus.
