Pojęcie nierówności płci w piłce nożnej na podstawie modelu piłkarskiego polskiego i zagranicznego

Celem pracy było ukazanie zjawiska nierówności płci w piłce nożnej, na podstawie analizy modelu funkcjonowania futbolu w Polce i za granicą. W pierwszej kolejności omówiono pojęcia „równości” i „nierówności” oraz ich znaczenie w kontekście sportowym, a także dokumenty FIFA, UEFA oraz PZPN dotyczące tej problematyki. Zastosowano metodę analizy treści, badając raporty, artykuły prasowe, wywiady i dokumenty. Analiza objęła sytuację kobiet w piłce nożnej reprezentacyjnej i klubowej, a także w środowiskach sędziowskich i medialnym w Polsce i za granicą. Wyniki wskazują, że mimo postępujących zmian i rosnącej liczby inicjatyw wspierających kobiety, nierówność płci w futbolu nadal występuje. Dotyczy ona m.in. dostępu do infrastruktury, finansowania czy obecności w mediach. Wnioski płynące z pracy wskazują na strukturalny i kulturowy charakter omawianego problemu, którego rozwiązanie wymaga zaangażowania na wielu poziomach – od polityki organizacji sportowych, przez media, aż po zmiany w społecznych postawach. Choć proces ten postępuje, wciąż napotyka na silny opór wynikający z zakorzenionych stereotypów obecnych w codziennym życiu.

The aim of this thesis was to highlight the phenomenon of gender inequality in football, based on an analysis of how the sport operates in both Poland and abroad. The study first discusses the concepts of equality and inequality and their significance in the context of sport, as well as the relevant documents from FIFA, UEFA, and the Polish Football Association (PZPN) addressing this issue. A content analysis method was applied, examining reports, press articles, interviews, and official documents. The analysis covered the situation of women in both national and club football, as well as in refereeing and the sports media environment in Poland and internationally.

The findings indicate that, despite ongoing changes and an increasing number of initiatives supporting women, gender inequality in football still persists. This includes disparities in access to infrastructure, funding, and media visibility. The conclusions drawn from the thesis point to the structural and cultural nature of the problem, which requires action on multiple levels – from the policies of sports organizations, through media representation, to shifts in societal attitudes. Although progress is being made, it still faces strong resistance rooted in deeply embedded stereotypes present in everyday life.
