Celem artykułu jest skonfrontowanie strategii paratekstualnych obecnych w dramaturgii Małgorzaty Sikorskiej-Miszczuk (na przykładzie dramatu Popiełuszko) z projektami interpretacyjnymi jej tekstów, a zarazem dookreślenie paratekstu jako tekstowego wariantu intencji autorskiej służącego interpretacji. Potencjalność oddziaływania para- i metatekstowych autokomentarzy na odbiorcę skutkuje wyeksponowaniem autorskiego podmiotu dramatycznego oraz wariantywnością interpretacji utworu.

The aim of this article is to confront the authorial paratextual strategies employed in the dramaturgy of Małgorzata Sikorska-Miszczuk, with a specific reference to her play Popiełuszko, with the interpretive approaches to her texts. At the same time, the article seeks to refine the understanding of paratext as a textual variant of authorial intention that guides interpretation. The potential impact of para- and metatextual self-commentaries on the reader or spectator foregrounds the authorial dramatic subject and presupposes the variability of interpretive possibilities.
