Determinanty bilateralnych obrotów handlu zagranicznego Polski: Czy integracja europejska ma znaczenie?

The goal of this article is to investigate determinants of Poland’s bilateral trade volumes with 100 partner countries during the 1992-2015 period with the special focus on the role of European integration using panel data econometric techniques. Estimation results show that European integration positively affected the volume of Poland’s bilateral trade. In addition, Poland’s trade volume is determined not only by the economic size of trading countries and geographic distance between them but also by relative endowments of production factors, and in particular human capital.
