Management: qualitative and quantitative research

Publication concencetrates on the selected aspects of qualitative and quantitive research problmes in managment. The authors try to analyze specific issues, such as global tendencies and strategic perspectives for Polish enterprises in the bitechnological industry, determinants of regional managment of the public health care sector, or marketing strategies of pharmaceutical companies. One of the authors explores the issue of persistence in the performance of commercial banks in Poland; time series patterns for test statsistics suggested that the persistent performance of Polish banks was influenced by the financial standing of the banking industry
