Znaczenie badań przedsiębiorczości imigrantów dla nauk o zarządzaniu

Celem artykułu jest wskazanie czynników, które wpływają na to, że przedsiębiorczość imigrantów może być uznana za specyficzny obszar badań. Dokonano analizy wybranych nurtów w badaniach przedsiębiorczości imigrantów i wskazano na główne elementy specyfiki tych badań. Pokazano także wybrane uwarunkowania procesu legitymizacji tego obszaru w ramach dyscypliny nauk o zarządzaniu. Znaczenie badań przedsiębiorczości imigrantów dla nauk o zarządzaniu zostało poddane analizie w końcowej części artykułu.

The article is aimed at the identification of factors which may lead to the recognition of immigrant entrepreneurship as a specific area of research. An analysis was made of selected trends in immigrant entrepreneurship research and the major elements of the specificity of this research was indicated. And selected determinants of the process of legitimisation of this area within the discipline of management sciences were shown. The significance of research of immigrant entrepreneurship for the management sciences was analysed in the final section of the article.
