Rola mechanizmów tekstowych w twórczości Zygmunta Haupta na przykładzie cyklu „O Pannie herbu Panna na Niedźwiedziu”

Celem pracy zatytułowanej Rola mechanizmów tekstowych w twórczości Zygmunta Haupta na podstawie cyklu „O Pannie herbu Panna na Niedźwiedziu” jest przedstawienie propozycji interpretacji wybranych utworów Zygmunta Haupta z tytułowego cyklu opowiadań, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem roli mechanizmów tekstowych oraz wątku miłości łączącej bohaterów. Na przestrzeni całej pracy omówiono kolejne mechanizmy tekstowe (takie jak metafory pamięci, ironia, sprzężenia (samo)zwrotne czy efekt nieskończonego lustra) oraz ich znaczenie dla konstruowania narracji. Rozdział pierwszy poświęcono życiorysowi autora, interpretacjom biograficznym oraz omówieniu nieoczywistego dla pisarstwa Haupta Ja tekstowego, dla którego zaproponowano określenie Ja rekurencyjnego. Rozważany jest także temat przyporządkowania gatunkowego omawianej prozy. Ważnymi zagadnieniami są również literackie sposoby przedstawiania pamięci oraz kulturowe postrzeganie miłości. Następnie metodą komparatystyczną w poetyce close reading przeprowadzone zostały analizy interpretacyjne dwu opowiadań cyklu (Appendictis i Gołębie z Placu Teodora), koncentrujące uwagę na tekstowym oddziaływaniu afektu. Ostatni rozdział pracy dotyczy emocjonalnych i pamięciowych uwarunkowań Ja tekstowego, które decydują o ostatecznym kształcie tej twórczości oraz o jej zdominowaniu przez różnego rodzaju zwielokrotnione odbicia czy autoreferencyjność narracji. Pojawiają się w nim odniesienia nie tylko do tytułowego cyklu O Pannie..., lecz także do późniejszej twórczości Haupta; dzięki temu możliwe jest wykazanie ewolucji świadomości autorskiej i języka omawianej prozy.

The aim of the work titled The Role of Text Mechanisms in the Works of Zygmunt Haupt on the Example of the Series O Pannie herbu Panna na Niedźwiedziu is to present an interpretation of selected works from Zygmunt Haupt's titular cycle of stories, with particular emphasis on the role of text mechanisms and the feeling of love between the characters. In the work, various text mechanisms (such as metaphors of memory, irony, reflexive self references, or the infinite mirror effect) and their significance in constructing the narrative are discussed. The first chapter is dedicated to the author's biography, biographical interpretations, and a discussion of Haupt's prose self, for which the term recursive self is proposed. The genre classification of the discussed prose is also considered, aswell as literary ways of representing memory and the cultural perception of love. Subsequently, using a comparative method in close reading poetics, interpretative analyses of two stories from the cycle (Appendicitis and Gołębie z placu Teodora) are conducted, focusing on the impact of an affect. The final chapter of the work concerns the emotional and memory-related conditions of the text-self. They determine the shape of this prose, which is dominated by various multiplied reflections or self-referential narration. References are made not only to the cycle O Pannie... but also to Haupt's later works; this allows to show the evolution of the author's consciousness and the language of the discussed prose.
